"Jeannie"

Ch. Ballyboughal Petticoat Lane

Ch. Ballyboughal Tansy x NZ Ch. Loretto Carnaby Street (Imp UK)

Before she grew well over the 5kg limit, Jeannie had quite an illustrious show career, including Reserve Best in Show at the Auckland Dachshund Club Championship show in 2004, held in conjunction with the National Dog Show.

Jean, Jean, Roses are red,
all the leaves have gone green,
And the clouds are so low,
You can touch them and so...
Come out to the meadow, Jean.

Till the sheep in the valley come home my way,
till the stars fall around me and find me alone,
When the sun comes a singin',
I'll be waitin'.

Jean, Jean, the roses are red,
All the leaves have gone green,
And the hils are ablaze...
With the moon's yellow haze,
Come into my arms, Bonnie Jean.

and 4 years later, Ohce has a new little sister! Jeannie is now seven years old so Ohce and Tara will be the sum total of Jeannie's offspring.

Here is Jeannie's brand new baby girl (who won't be going anywhere!) For those of you who either know our Ohce, (click on his name here to read his story) or if you have followed his progress I am sure you will be thrilled for me. I have called Ohce's little sister Tara - she is now three weeks old and a perfectly formed little dachshund. xxxxxxxxxxxx. Her photos will be in Jeannie's page. Jeannie, of course, is a devoted little mummy to her litter of one.
